Build reusable bundles of samples and push them to your device in one go
If you keep loading the same sets of sounds, Sample Packs save you the repetition. A pack is a named bundle of samples that lives on your computer. Sample Packs is a top-level tool in the sidebar (under Library), so it's no longer tucked inside the File Manager. Build a pack once, then send it to whichever device you've got plugged in. Sample Packs is a Pro feature.
Create a new pack and give it a name. You can add a description and tags too, which come in handy once you've built up a few and want to find one quickly.
The quickest way to fill a pack is to import a whole folder in one go. Point it at a folder and it pulls in the files for you, rather than adding them one at a time. Packs accept WAV, AIFF and MP3. Imports are capped at 500 files or 2 GB at a time.
Export as ZIP saves a whole pack, every sample plus a small manifest, to a single .zip file. That's the shareable unit: send it to a friend or keep it as an off-device backup.
Import from ZIP brings one back. A pack you exported from EP-PatchStudio returns with its sample order, names and root notes intact. A plain ZIP of loose audio works too: it pulls in every audio file it finds and skips the macOS clutter (__MACOSX folders and dotfiles) that usually rides along in a zip.
When you want a pack on the device, use Push to Device. Choose the slot to start from and whether to overwrite what's already there, and the whole pack loads in one go, with a progress bar so you can see how it's getting on. It's the fastest way to get a big set of samples onto your EP without adding them slot by slot.
