Store unlimited projects locally — your EP-40 only has 9 slots, your library has no limit
The EP-40 has 9 project slots. That's it. If you want to try something new, you have to overwrite an existing project. The Project Library solves this by storing unlimited projects on your computer, so you can freely rotate projects on and off the device without losing anything.
Projects are stored in the app's local database, complete with all sample data. You can search, tag, filter and organise them however you like.
There are two ways to get projects into the library:
The library shows all your saved projects as cards. Each card displays the project name, BPM, tags and when it was last modified.
Type in the search bar to filter projects by name. Results update as you type.
Large collections are paginated automatically, so the library stays fast even with hundreds of projects.
Tags let you categorise projects however makes sense for your workflow. Add tags like "live set", "work in progress", "hip-hop", "collab" — whatever you need.
Send a library project back to your EP-40. Choose which project slot to load it into. The project's samples are uploaded to the device automatically.
Create a copy of any project in the library. Useful for making variations or using a project as a starting template.
Update a project's name, tags and notes at any time.
Remove a project from the library. This only deletes the local copy — it doesn't affect anything on your device.
Library vs Device
The library and the device are separate. Deleting a project from the library doesn't remove it from your EP-40, and clearing a slot on the device doesn't affect your library copy.
Projects can be exported as ZIP archives for sharing or archiving. Import ZIP archives to add projects from other users or restore previously exported projects.
