Pro Trial Now Free for Everyone
Based on early feedback, the 14-day Pro trial no longer requires an email signup. Just install and go.
Less Friction, More Music
One thing I heard from early users was that the email signup to start a Pro trial felt like an unnecessary step. Fair point. You just downloaded the app and want to try it out, not fill in a form.
So I've changed it. Starting with version 0.26.0, every new user gets a 14-day Pro trial automatically. No email, no signup, no form. Install the app, accept the terms and you're in.
What's Unlocked
During your 14 days you get full access to:
- Auto-Sampler for recording multisamples from hardware synths and VSTs
- File Manager for browsing and managing files on your EP device
- Project Library for storing and organising projects locally
- Backup & Restore for full device backups
After the trial, the Multisample Editor stays free. If you want to keep the Pro features, you can upgrade with Pay What You Want pricing.
Existing Users
If you previously skipped the trial, you'll see a prompt offering the 14-day Pro trial next time you open the app. Same deal: no signup required.
Why This Matters
I want people to experience what EP-PatchStudio can do before asking for anything. Connecting to your device, running your first backup, sampling a synth with the Auto-Sampler. That's when it clicks. A form at the front door was getting in the way.
